Norman Davies
1939’da Lancashire, İngiltere’de doğdu. Bolton School ve Oxford Magdalen College’da okudu. Krakow Jagiellon Üniversitesi’nde doktora derecesini aldı. Londra Üniversitesi SSES’te akademik personel olarak çalıştı. Kuzey Amerika, Asya ve Avustralya’da birçok üniversitede misafir profesör olarak ders verdi. Konferansçı ve radyo konuşmacısı olarak çok aranan bir kişidir ve Londra Üniversitesi onursal profesörüdür.Davies’in Eserleri:
